HELLO!

We are Petr and Eliška. We love great food, people, animals and the whole planet. And we also love challenges. For several years now, we have been active on the Prague gastro scene in the plant-based restaurant Chutnej na Letné, where we dispel myths about plant-based food. And we wanted to demolish another…

... that plant-based pastries can never taste as good as classic ones! And so in 2022, we enlisted the help of the most famous flour, other honest ingredients and above all Eliška, a passionate baker with experience from Czech and foreign bakeries. This wonder woman perfected such perfect recipes that our delicate pastries tasted even to the taste buds of the biggest skeptics. The krafin, a filled croissant in the form of a muffin, became a bestseller, which flooded Prague's businesses and markets within a few months. It has won the hearts and palates of vegans and non-vegans alike. And that is part of our mission - to find a common path for everyone.

So the bakery celebrated success and soon wanted to have its own cafe. And so in 2023, with the financial help of a crowdfunding campaign on Donio, we reconstructed the premises of the original Chutnej bistro at Voroněžská 19. A bar, designer seating was added, and a glass wall grew between the bakery and the cafe, thanks to which you can watch the nimble fingers of our bakers in action.

And you continue to write the story with us. From a comfortable chair, you drink selected coffee from a local roaster and crumbs fall from your mouth from a damn good carafe.
